Hello.
My name is Katie and my husband is Benjamin...We met while we
were still Juniors in high school. We knew from the day that we met
that
we would grow old together and have lots of kids. That was February
5th, 1993. Today, 2011, we have been married for over 12 years
now..together for almost 19 years..and still in love. We felt right
from our first daughter, Kylan, that we wanted to home school her and
all of our other children we wanted to have. Today, we are
homeschooling four out of our six kiddos, and still loving it!! The
two we aren't home schooling are too young to start school
"technically", but we find that everyday is a learning opportunity. We
love our little ones so much, and cherish the time we have together
each day. We encourage each other and our girls to pursue their dreams,
to be the best that they can be, and that there is no end to the
opportunities that there are in this world for each and every one of
them. Benjamin is a
self-employed painter and I am a licensed Cosmetologist. I am also
enrolled in Cuesta College and am currently taking my pre-req's for the
Nursing Program.While Ben was at work one day he called me and said"
You have got to come check out this great looking dog!!" So I went
with him one day to clean up his paint jobsite, and there was the
greatest looking dog ever. The thing that stood out to me was his
grandeur, royalty, and stature. So majestic looking. I then did my
research and found out that the Miniature Schnauzer breed was a
non-shedding dog. After that, we were hooked!!
Here are a few of our past puppies and their new found families!!
Maybe six months later
we bought our first black female, Zion's Crown of Sophia. She was
adorable, and very loving. We then found a
handsome addition to our home, our second schnauzer, Zion's Sword of Vladamir, {AKA Vlad}. We were
fortunate to have found him. His pedigree is full of Champions and show
stock, but he is so down to earth, and a momma's boy. I adore him!!
Vladamir is of Russian stock, so he is bulkier and heavier boned. He is
a gorgeous little man with a very sweet heart. When then bought our third schnauzer, Zion's Scarlett Dream of Bellaroosh. She is
a perfect AKC match for Vladamir. Impeccable pedigree, and Champions on
both sides of her lineage as well..From their first litter, we kept a beautiful Black and Silver female we named Chevelle. So here we are now. I have the privilege to be able to provide families around the Country one of my
Black, Salt and Pepper, or Black and Silver Miniature Schnauzers, all the while doing what I do best, being a
loving wife and a dedicated mommy..
